Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends south of the border...

*Thanksgiving Thoughts in Senryu* The horn of plenty Symbolizes the bounty On Thanksgiving Day ***** On Thanksgiving Day We all gather together To express our thanks *** A time to reflect On the treasures of the land Happy Thanksgiving *** The riches of fall Give us pause for reflection It is Thanksgiving *** On this special day Gratefulness is our premise Happy Thanksgiving *** Filled with gratitude We gather to celebrate And count our blessings *** In midst of chaos There’s much to be thankful for On Thanksgiving Day *** In the azure sky Skeins of geese are flying south On Thanksgiving Day *** Let us bow our heads Reflect upon our blessings This Thanksgiving Day © Copyright Regis Auffray**

THIS DAY REFLECTS THE BEGINNING OF THAT VERY SPECIAL HOLIDAY SEASON WHEN OUR THOUGHTS TURN TO 'HIM' WHO GIVES US SO MUCH AND WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR WHEN HEARTS UNITE, EVEN IF ONLY FOR A TIME, AND REMEMBER OUR CREATOR...WITH WONDERFUL PHRASES SUCH AS YOU'VE SHARED.
