Brotherly Love
Waiting for my flight in the crowded airport,
I noticed first, the middle age man
carefully wheeling his wife in an armchair,
a slightly overweight woman with heavy eyes,
and a beautiful face, puffed from medications.
Then,I noticed the brother,carefully dressed,
with a too loud chain adorning his neck
"A little dim," I thought.
And my attention returned to the man caring
for both;He appeared so calm, so at peace,
graceful,I might say."What a cruel fate!"
I thought,"Brother and wife to care for!"
Then, upon a closer look, I noticed the love
they shared, the three of them, the carring.
And suddenly I saw the truth:
"The man in the middle was supported and
strengthened by the love of those he cared
for!"
Then, I realized, that caring for others is
not a chore, but a privilege!
