Sleepless Thoughts

Maybe it's from lack of sleep
That I feel like I'm slipping away
Tears streaming down to my feet
Will soon flood where my mind stays
Hearts pulsing ripples make
Pushing me further in it's wake
The shore I can hardly see
Distance growing longer
One blink is all that's left of me
Soon fading dreams will belong
Back in the place of never was
Leaving the mind to wonder
If it was real or just a buzz
From all the wines blunders.
