Poem Artwork

Sunsets black and neverending,

                 riding closer to the edge,

silhouettes of grey and ashes,

                 feeling pain that never passes.

Trying to rid myself of demons,

waiting for a ray of light,

sleeping in a waking nightmare,

                  knowing that you never cared.

Wish that I could stop the memories,

                rogue intruders with no feeling,

Past that takes me to a place,

                where I died...without a trace.

Feeling and giving love this deeply to someone that does not deserve it, can hurt this much. I have been there, Cela, I know this pain you speak of. It makes it very difficult to love someone again.
I am happy to say that I have been able to love deeply once again. It took four years of my life, to finally rid the demons. I send you healing energy and wish for you much,
peace, love and light,
Amber
