White Nose Hair

A silly poem when your hair starts turning gray!

You know you’re old, It’s been told, When you’re hair turns gray. The color leaves, And you aren’t pleased, When it all goes away! The hair turns lighter, Then gets whiter, For the whole world to see. But up in the nose, So the story goes, Was a complete surprise to me! It sticks straight out, Long and stout, As it sways in the wind. This short white hair, You’d have to stare, Then you start to grin. I never knew, Not even a clue, That it creeps inside your nose! When it wiggles, You might giggle, It’s normal I suppose! Yet I must say, When I get gray, I’ll surely color my hair. Whether on my toes, Or up in my nose, I’ll color it anywhere! By C.G. Who wants them in the nose at all? Bad enough my eyebrows disappeared, now I have to worry about the hairs that find their way out of my nose! I hope your coloring goes well....you would look really strange if the whole inside of your nose is blonde or brunette.
A cute, entertaining poem!

Oh, how funny! I'm seventy. Need I say more? I asked my wife once: Why, when we get old, do we have to have coarse hairs growing in our eyebrows, out our nose and ears, our skin wrinkles, and we get these old-age spots all over our body? Her response was: "I guess it's God's way of helping us to not care to die." Your poem really hit home.

I don'tmind my gray hairs, regardless of where they grow. As a person mostly bald, at least they're hairs.
Cute.

Yes, it sure is funny what grows up your nose! If you color your hair you are following in the path of legions before you. You only left out one thing, that is the hair that grows out of the ears as if to replace that disappearing from the forehead.
