The story of a man who seeks revenge on a witch who struck him blind only to find that she had also been bewitched.
Out of the mist rode the three,
Midac, Meltac and Sendaree.
Draped in cloaks as black can be,
They rode their steeds as one.
A wayside inn they tied their steeds,
Went inside to drink and feed,
Some information they would need,
Before the day was done.
Many a head turned to stare,
As the mystery three entered there.
What dark, black deeds would come to bear,
Before this night was through.
They ordered food and a flagons of mead,
Sat down as one to sate their greed,
Said incantations o'er their feed,
Then ate, and drank their brew.
Sendaree climbed to his feet,
Called the landlord, “take a seat,
There's someone we require to meet,
Perhaps you know of she”.
The landlord's eyes grew wide with fear,
The name he thought he'd never hear,
Was whispered in his grimy ear.
He jumped, as though to flee.
“The one you seek, dwells not this way,
Has not been seen for many a day.
Do not involve me in this play,
I beg you hear my plea.”
A beggar man approached the place,
The three had chosen for their space.
He looked into each evil face,
With eyes that could not see.
“Though I be blind, my ears are sound,
I keep them well down to the ground.
The one you seek is not around,
But I know where she dwell.”
“Then speak or lose your filthy tongue
For in this place we can'st dwell long.
She must be found while she is strong,
Before All Hallows Hell.”
“I do not fear your evil threat,
My life is all but over yet,
A dire revenge I must beget,
Upon the one you seek.”
Midac grinned with evil glee,
“Exact revenge? Thou cannot see.
But you may come along we three
For time's too short to speak.”
“Then I will show you where she lies
Though on All Hallows Eve she dies.
You'll try to save her with your lies,
And the lock of hair you carry.
“You seem to know so much old man,
About our carefully plotted plan.
So tell us now if you can,
What burden doth thee carry.
“I fell in love with she you'd find,
Her lovely face, her evil mind.
But it was she who struck me blind.
Now I must see her die.
On his steed climbed Sendaree,
And up behind the blind man be.
Then , galloped off all horses three,
Into the night they fly.
All night long, they galloped on,
All night long the full moon shone.
As though to spur them on and on,
It shone to light their way.
As daylight broke they reached the place,
Where dwelt that lovely, evil face.
There was no sign of life, no trace,
Perhaps she died this day.
O'er the threshold they all strode,
And entered in her dark abode.
The blind man's heart a heavy load,
But now the time has come.
A weakened witch they all saw,
Lying on a bed of straw.
The lock of hair that they bore,
Would help her overcome.
The beggar's eyes, they could not see,
But in his mind dwelt her beauty.
Her long black hair falling free
It shone like Ravens wings.
The man then took the lock of hair,
and placed it on her pale face fair.
Whilst in his hand he gripped a pair
Of golden wedding rings.
The blind man lunged to grab the hair
He fell upon a wooden chair.
The three they clutched to hold him there,
Momentum carried him on.
The blind man fell across the witch,
The woman’s eyes began to twitch.
To get revenge his mind doth itch,
And that's what spurred him on.
The beggar found the lock of hair,
Just as the witch began to stir.
She grasped his head and pulled him there,
Her lips on his she'd place
A flash and light shone all around,
The evil three, dead on the ground.
Instead the beggar could be found.
A prince, handsome of face.
The witch, no longer evil she,
A beauty now, fair and free.
So in love both he and she.
Lived happily ever after.

I do hope you can overcome the formatting problem. I believe I've suggested possible solutions in the Roundtable. I think it's quite easy to overcome the problem. Just try different approaches, like pasting special from the original source to the editor or turn the editor off before you paste.
