It's Christmas Time

It's Christmas time -- it's Christmas time
My most favorite season of all
Everyone's excited -- everyone's shopping
Filling stores of the mall

Presents tied with golden ribbon
Hidden amongst closet shelves
Happy people loving and giving
Thinking of more than themselves

It's Christmas time -- it's Christmas time
A season of  gratuitous behavior
A special time when we celebrate
The birth of our Lord and Savior 

Oh let this be a peaceful time
Let mankind be filled with joy
Offering gifts of unbounded love
As did Christ -- Mary's baby boy
