One's purpose is embedded within spiritual themes
That flow within the streams of humanity's dreams
Some struggle to discern such truths from fallacy
Some endeavor to make their deeds more worthy
Traversing beyond mere physical reach
Some seek inner paths to a spiritual beach
Immersed within themes of ideals pure
Some passionately respond to divinity's lure
As death nears and we think of our deeds of old
As each cherished life force we gratefully behold
As heart sighs and spirit soars -- becoming truly free
Will our deeds be deemed -- to have been -- worthy?
