It talks about how love can sometimes be painful, but is needed by all.
What is love, If hearts are not connected And spirits don’t click If one’s heart is left rejected Waiting on death as the clock ticks? What is love, If hearts kept breaking And lovers are estranged If they can’t stop hurting One another, and are betrayed? What is love, If one partner demands all And gives back nothing Leaving the other to fall Yearning for just one thing? Then what is love? Love should be fun, Love should be cherished When all is said and done We all need love to stay nourished
