Never let it happen again Massacre at Jones Town

Poem Artwork

It is with still emotions I trace the lines of my life, drawing upon the pages of a momentary lesson learned. Careless daydream, anticipating another scene, another dawn another day to make my way through all those things I hide in side, there is a crack in my wall it runs the distance of all I knew as a truth and ends where it began. A circle of reasoning where fools connect the dots. Will it ever stop raining pulling my scarf about my neck-quite walk at a wondering pace? Will it ever stop raining; temples moist, my lips begin to shake. Staring at everything-not-seeing –feeling, just being as the dawn fades away. It is how I exist this day-to-day chase towards contentment. Leaving yesterday to rest among the leaves of my thoughts lost, my everything gone closed by the nights dim light, I wipe the rain from my brow, and walk on my way, I’ll get to where these cobblestones leads me some day.  The mud I feel the mud, I hear the wind the helicopter beating overhead; I will get to where these cobblestones lead me but for now follow me to sleep.

Jonestown was a horrific event, which I pray never happens again. Whatever part it has in your life, Edwin, face it head on when it comes to mind, then give it back to the past where it belongs. Don't give it too much time to upset your mind. Blessings and peace to you~ Eileen

Jonestown was a tragedy for many families and folks. It amazes me how many people will follow, blindly.

Blessings and love,Susan

Sadly people sometimes choose badly when their souls are so very lost and find themselves following cobblestones into darkness. Patrick
