I don’t know where to go, Lord,
I’m not sure just what to do,
I’m asking for your help, Lord,
I ask you, please, to guide me through
the trials and the turmoil
in this place in which I’m lost;
I don’t know where to turn, Lord,
This place is cold and filled with frost.
I seem to wander ‘round in circles,
and all I do is shed these tears,
Yet I do know I will make it through,
in time this fog will clear.
But, I feel so all alone now,
there seems no purpose anymore,
and I knock, I keep on knocking,
steady knocking on your door.
My cross, so very heavy,
and there’s too much on my plate...
I feel my heart’s about to buckle
and die beneath such weight.
And, while I know that you watch over me,
you carry me when I am weak...
I cannot find your whereabouts
when to look upon your face is what I seek.
Please show me where to look, Lord,
how to rise above and to strengthen my Faith,
not only that I may hold your hand;
but see the beauty of thy face.
I used to be such a happy soul -
Faith came so naturally,
but lately Faith’s been faultering
and I seem to stumble and fall easily.
So please, dear Father, help me stand,
help my feet be sure again...
And every prayer within my heart
upon wings to you I heaven send...

Deborah,

This is a beautiful little prayer. I'm sure with all the sincerity you show here that He is definitely listening. It is always so easy to fall and so difficult to rise up again. Blessings Always, Paul

You will stand up again,
on your own two feet.

The Lord will hold your hand in His.
He will lead you out from the darkness,
emerge you into the light.

With Him holding your hand,
You will bravely proceed!
