You are doing the right thing. It reminds me of what my brother's wife told me about a black teacher telling her to NOT go to college, evemn though she was fairly good in high school. It is like a massive brainwashing thing in America, where even the blacks have been "trained" to discriminate against other blacks. And don't think it is just happening to blacks, although we are the drug of choice in America. It is pitiful, how people will try to hold you back, but you must be stronger than them and know your own mind. Don't let anyone define who you are (wise words to me from Eileen Waldron)because you are a mountain of "unused/unrealized/unfinished" strength.
