Our Red White'n Blue
no more pretending
lies are the truth
Day By Day
more Freedom Dies
we're watchin it fall
right before our eyes
we give an inch
they take a mile
planning their next move
laughing all the while
we work so hard
just to pay our way
they steal our money
and make War everyday
this never ending
Do As I Say
Not As I Do
just roll that next Stop Sign
And Learn Quick
Who Owns Who
if we Stand Together
that house of cards will fall
no more slaves for a King
that thinks he owns it all
don't you think It's About Time
For We The People To Rule
it would be so easy
Standing Together

Those fat from money they gather in Congress are fighting for a budget with more military spending while taking away from benefits to the weakest and poorest of our citizens. There are also opposed to the other side's wanting to expand certain programs for the poor and disabled.
All because in order to do either, the budget ceiling has to be raised.
Compromise like this can lead to a failure to do the right thing in the long run. Putting it off for a future they may not be to anyone's liking.
