Past Life Review...
Tainted Painting © Jaimey Perham 07/23/2010 Into the old museum I walked straight to the exhibit of the ancients I took a deep breath and a feeling of doom replaced my patience The quiet damp reserved room was dark except for the lights on the wall The room was empty except for ghosts of past souls from god’s rear hall I went to the nearest painting that showed a child in pain Then to the next that showed two young lovers in vain The next showed my body in a battle on the fields of a distant land The last showed me on my frail death bed with my children and lover at hand My troubled past life was visible for all that wanted to see My mission in this life was for my soul to finally be set free Free from the frightening fear that seem to follow me from life to life So now with this revelation my spirit can finally enter the loving bright light
