He embraced humiliation He embraced humiliation from the cradle to the grave for all the sins of humankind his life he freely gave walked the lonely dusty road no place to call his home leppers, peasants, measly women flocked for healing e'er he did roam His disciples among the most despised tax collectors, smelly fishermen listened as the master spoke of things to come and when He lived not a Kingly life though a crown is upon his head preferred companions shunned and scorned chose to die in agony instead It's hard to believe it happened true yet he kneeled afore them washed their dust taught us the depth of humility that to enter heaven it be a must So why do we run from embarresment he showed us to how to endure The praise and glory we seek here and now is naught but an empty lure!
