Climbing life's winding stairs two at a time,
Please, look to my heaven's for I still remain blind.
Ignorant of virtue, I leave your love behind,
Now I need it more than ever,
This weather snares my mind.

A hurricane spinning, losing bearings,
Can I stay my course?
Imagine the pain,
Were you built for this weather?
Can you still hold it together?
How will I know the force,

Love is all I'll need forever;
I have to go back for yours.

You've got brains, you got looks,
But it's your smile that made this hook.
I'm not hesitating,
I'm just finally waiting,
For the sign to show I care.

I need to fall to find what my life is worth,
Embrace memories long lost as my back is turned.

To suture up my future I crawl back to where it hurt,
The days sear my reality, I remember how it burnt.

Deeper into darkness I find what pain was meant for,
Look into my eyes, learn who's love remains; yours.

You've got brains, you got looks,
But it's your smile that made this hook.
I'm not hesitating,
I'm just finally waiting,
For the sign to show I care.

I find that I'm here but you left years ago,
Heat leaves me too, all I have now is the cold,

Bold statement, filled with lies,
I hate it.
Thought I'd never come back, but for you,
I made it!
To learn that love grows old,
As time leaves it faded.

As I lose grasp of what's here,
I hear lovers through the air.

You've got brains, you got looks,
But it's your smile that made this hook.
I'm not hesitating,
I'm just finally waiting,
For the sign to show I care.

I spun around, to find I've won,
Two hearts start learning to beat as one.
Cold beat, hold me! Rushing to end this fright,
Slowly flowing around her, I know we'll breathe tonight.

A walk by her soul's light, find mine finally free,
All  I ever wanted was for you to say you need me.

Ascending once again, I hold her in my hands,
Does it take a woman to lose a boy inside a man?

Darkness one day births light to change its course.
As I fall tonight, I know I was born only yours.
