Not quite "beat", so just call it pulse poetry,
Except I have lost mine.
Scrolling through my phonebook, no one that talks,
Glance up find thine eyes dormant,
Where is my reflection hiding?
I ride waves of redemption, but the surf is gone,
This turf is home, alas I wade through foreign waters,
Bring back time, he left me alone,
Nobody here, I'm scared.
I stared down the heavens to find me a beauty,
Sized up hell to give her that bite,
You don't have to fight, it's alright.
It's all right.
Turn off the stars I need at least one good night,
Fall to my knees winded,
Head lowed, my hands drip red; how?
Crimson or maroon, you know they'll find you soon,
It's begun, but what have I done?
Walk out knee deep in holy water,
Clean my hands, drop the revolver.
Grim hymns carried through murky depths,
Who lives long enough to greet death?
Instead I run.
Can't find me? Rewind time and see I've been packing,
Cut ties to my history, this road crosses misery,
One last love, but where did you go?
I need penance from remnant lies, cry;
Stop running through the night
If all you need is light.
Don't fight a stranger
Thinking they were a friend.
Decipher the gifted writer and save my soul,
Before this waning crescent finds a fill
To this gravedigger's hole.

"Untitled" is from a fountain of wise emotions, and is poetized
to strike the readers´imagination.
I have enjoyed the reading of this poem, "Untitled".
