Who cares about the headache when the heart is torn,
Why wash clean these dirty hands if my soul is worn.
Forlorn and fading as the half empty glass is invading,
My thoughts and dreams that caught the theme that I'm sick, and tired of waiting.

Reeling from the pain gained from winning a life that love is stealing,
Creating a sickness to numb away this bummed, crumby feeling.
Cough from the freezing cold coming off of her blissful heart,
Once I thought I felt the warmth, 'twas only blood rushing to the wishful parts.

Like the lips love the kissful start of a passionate relationship,
Locked up then knocked out as, is the fashion, elation is snipped.
Is this the long awaited trip I was meant to follow?
Or does she realize her steel eyes reside in a house resounding hollow.

It's not hard to swallow the fact that fiction feels sweeter off the tongue,
Just like the times she looks away simply to utter "I've won".
You've had your fun, now please give me my heart intact,
In fact, we both thought it was true , but you didn't win that.

You simply sinned towards the wind forgetting to face the rack,
As the cough finally rears my thoughts are cleared and I demand it all back!
When it rains it pours and the pains they soared 'till you asked for me in full,
And I laughed it away, as you asked me to say this fool was yours to rule.

To twist and tool but in the kiss I knew the failure,
At least, in these chains I gained, I knew I went to jail pure.
Looked in the mail for a place to go where no one knows your heart,
But as I rewind time I see I kneeled to the wrong queen from the start.

Beauty means nothing as long as it's shrouded in caring,
Diving deeper into love's decadence, so it was you that was staring!
Once more we gaze back at before,to these lies wrapped up in even laughter,
Leaving the treason behind, we walk intertwined, still happy even after.
