Summer in a nutshell

Warm, sunny
June 21st night
Scent of mown
grass, sweet peony

White, slushy drinks
pineapple, coconut mix
dressed with fuchsia parasols
skewered cherries, orange

Robins sing, dogs bark
friends laughter from the porch
Smoky scent of shish kabobs
heating on the grill
