Perched upon my wrought iron fence, Ravens in a row Stately dominating their domain Focused on the glare of a tiny kitchen window A ruckus informs me, they’re glad I came
Heads turn from left to right, to catch a glimpse of me Beckoning a friend from her retreat Hence, my first appearance, calls for boisterous celebration Excitement grows when finally our eyes meet
Endearing is the Raven’s call, I listen to at dawn In knowing, my cheering squad awaits Big and black as alley cats, I smile to hear them Caw Their Ravens Call is calling me awake.
