Fate was an angry gale
that blew the red dust away
before the rain fell
extinguishing the fires of hell
And a torrent of healing tears
seep into the ground
removing all trace
of whatever was and has been
It's always so still
before new growth begins
Deepest pain passes more slowly. "Bottoming out" is sometimes a necessary part of catharsis. I always am intrigued by the intricacy of your messages. You seem to find the light; and I am happy that certain pains have passed... for you. Also, some of us cannot see that the object of our love often ends up being the source of our pain. It's a difficult lesson to learn, especially when love blinds us to so many things. "New growth begins;" that is such a wonderful thought. -- Jeff
