In a world of words, a trembling soul she stood,
Afraid to speak, stuck...like petrified wood
Her knees were knocking, her voice was a squeak,
Her palms were sweating and she felt so weak.
But that was the day she couldn't persist,
It was time to conquer this fear with a twist!
So she put on her bravest, quirkiest attire -
A neon suit that set the room on fire.
She began with a joke, and a grin so wide,
And as she continued her fears did subside.
The audience laughed, and it set her free,
She was no longer trapped in her anxiety.
With each punchline, she found her groove,
And all her fear was completely removed
She danced on that stage, without a care
All because she'd had the courage to dare
No more trembling legs, no stammered word,
Her erstwhile fear seemed completely absurd.
She'd conquered her fear with humor, you see,
And embarked on a journey to mastery!
So if you're afraid to speak on the stage
Just remember how to break out of your cage.
Humor's the cure, and the antidote to stress
Turn your fear into laughter, and you're sure to impress.
