A fictional poetic chat of what God might say to women of this era.

Woman looketh back afar,

to times when women sustained domiciles,

and bore the children of the father.

Looketh back to how they carried themselves.

Gently and silently, ne’er a word if discontent.

For God hath shown them how.

Woman looketh back to times long gone,

when men cared for them and the children.

With his mighty hand he protected them,

loved them and supported them.

Woman looketh back and remember,

ye are not so far from whence you came,

yet you fight for all that I gave man,

struggling to become what you are not.

Woman, quench your thirst of power,

by way of child and home.

Be that as it may, you are woman,

and within that right comes the power you seek.

Woman be content, lest ye find repose,

and within that comes the anger.

For ye shall ne’er be at rest as a true woman.

Fear not the complexities of motherhood.

Woman look at your child with love.

Look to your husband with honor.

For no man will carry a child as you have done.

This is my gift to women.

Woman be safe in knowing your strength.

Be not humble of this knowledge,

and walk softly as rose petals on the sands,

for my plans for you are written in stone.

Woman looketh back again and see,

that but for my grace, man would not survive,

for it is woman who hath taken man to her heart

and given him a strength that knows no boundaries.

Woman you are a miracle of life.

Do not question this fact, lest ye be saddened.

But instead exult in this knowledge.

For in the end your reward is everlasting.
