Great insight within these words! To experience freedom, one has to first know the cage. The question of corruption is one that comes from my own religious past.
On a second reading, and reading Odin, I gained some insight into your poem. I sense a sense of "coming out" from a rather closeted existence, perhaps very religious, into the light of open thinking. Twice read, becomes a beautiful statement.
A noteworthy reflection of the process of spiritual and intellectual integration, allowing the fusion of nature and the often belligerent emotions of a seeker. The stanzas meld well with double entendre on top of metaphoric insight that often eludes the less demanding psyche. Well penned confessional style poetry without the saccharin sweet nonsense that so often bores this reader. Kudos.
