ANGELS INSTEAD

Poem Artwork

 In a lonely world I stood.

I felt invisible .

Adversity forcefully knocked down my defences.

I sank in a hole of despair.

My faith was fast fading.

Didn’t know what to believe in anymore.

Then came an angel in disguise.

She stood in the form of a woman.

Her snow-white hair glowed in the sunshine.

Her eyes were blue and reassuring.

Hope rode on her wings.

Today I’m here because this angel saw me when I was invisible.

I found hope and strength for believing an angel instead.

AMEN! FROM 'THE WORD' WE LEARN THAT ANGELS DO EXIST, INDEED. AND WE AS BELIEVERS...KNOW...THEY ARE GOD'S MESSENGERS WHO DO NO MORE OR NO LESS THAN 'GOD' INSTRUCTS THEM TO DO. I believe that angel was a real, caring individual. We can call them angels if we like, but they are just like you and me with hearts that give more than they take.
