I'm so glad that you found a way to come back from all of that pain.
Your pain may have been psychological, but I can tell you that after minor surgery, I experienced occasional excruciating pain until last week where that pain has finally subsided. I'm not quite normal yet and may need more surgery to correct a defect, but eventually I hope to get back to normal living without pain or otherwise discomfort.
I can appreciate your poem so much. I think learning to love ourselves, forgive ourselves and those that hurt us, is the hardest thing we may ever do. Finding our purpose on Earth may take some time but if we want to get there we can. Blessings and healing to you.
