Oh! ye'll take the high road and
I'll take the low road,
And I'll be in Scotland afore ye;
But me and my true love
Will never meet again
On the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.
....................................................
I looked in your beautiful eyes
and couldn't help myself
fall in love
with you all over again
as the divine turtle doves
cooed in the spreading conifers
you smiled at me entrancingly
beneath the bronze arch
that fronts the manicured lawns
that lead to the Victorian glasshouses
as we recalled
that memorable and blessed day
when we first got married
three and twenty glorious years ago
I promised you then
That I would be your Stone Wall
between you
and all the cares of the World
I have kept that committment and vow
so my darling wife
as we sit here on the garden bench
and I squeeze gently
your loving hand
the mother of our sons
and watching the playful rabbits
darting across the verdant grass
I give you my pledge
that the best
is still to come

You are a richly radiant romanticist who continues, unwaveringly, to produce those poetic treasures that move upon the hearts and minds of your readers in broad strokes of assimilable colors.
The man who chooses to see the past as a library of experience from which to glean from, and the future as the best yet to come, is, in my mind, truly blessed.
I salute the love between you and your blessed wife!
Unity unwavering ...

"All Over Again"
I'm always in love thank goodness it's with my husband!
Oh, I just fell in love with this excellent write.
I am certain that she is still all aglow also.
Yes, that is my sentiment exactly, the best is yet to come!
Only if everyone would feel that way about themselves, I
think we'd have the world eating out of each other's hand.
Simply lovely!
Floating out,
Gwendolyn
