The faulty flipper on the Fangadoodle froze
causing a contraptional clunk,
not the common clink,
but a crystal clear controversial clunk...

and then a clank and clatter

All drew still upon the surface
serene sat the sun o’er the sea

The misaligned mechanical monstrosity
had stopped

In a breath
with sight with touch in soul
All did partake of the silence
if just for one brief moment

but once the faulty flipper was fixed
and the Fangadoodle fully fueled
the winding whirring would begin again

And most of All
did forget that moment of clarity
as dummies sprang forth from passenger seats
in crowded carpool lanes providing more
far-flung faulty parts for the Fangadoodle
