Just doodling

if the president has a cold
or his temeratures on the rise a bit
watch out for the stock market
tomorrow it'll take a hit
and greenspan makes a stastment
"things don't look good," with a frown
watch out for the economy
'cause the stock markets going down
good news is what it takes
to put us all in the chips
so when it's bad news
you should button up the lips
don't watch the evening news
if the TV anchor has a frown
you could be responsible
for the stock market going down
if you see the morning paper
and the head line isn't good
you should roll it up and burn it
just as quick as you could
try not to remember
forget it if you dare
or you could be the reason
the stock market is a bear
if you want to do your part
to keep the economy on the rise
stifle all the bad news
it maybe to your suprise
you're job could be on the line
or your job could be sound
you could still be the reason
the stock market's going down
just think of all the people
you've put them in the hole
you've passed along some bad news
now the markets going to fold
if it's well within your power
and you know the way to win
and you fail to do your part
you could cause the stock market to crash again
