Ocean

what i consider one of my best works!

Ocean

Blue beckoning,
Surging powerful full
Of salted rage.

Swells rise to fall again;
Pummel sandy shores
With potent brutality.

Its beauty seethes
Under veils of swirling
Incognito glances of
Gleaming waves.

Serendipity lies beneath
This frenzied body of natures force;
Awestruck I stand
And stare.

Its magnificence reflects
Within me,
As my soul accepts;
This ocean.

Here, I am home.

I can relate. Each time I go to the ocean it takes my breath away.
