It was not her choice
To live in a shadowed world
It was destiny
And she has embraced this truth
As her paths lay before her
Wouldn't it be wonderful to understand the colors of life? To truly see the painted gifts of nature? To recognize a face? To not be questioned about ability? Wouldn't it be enlightening to know the world as others do? Perhaps... but would she be content with the changes? She has always allowed her struggles and discoveries to mold her into the person she is. Her accomplishments have always humbled her. Her failures have made her more determined, as have her doubts. Her acceptance began as a child and still requires her attention. She does not seek praise for overcoming as there was nothing to overcome. She merely lives as she was destined to and if along the way she opens the doors to acceptance for others, she has fulfilled her purpose here. Wouldn't it be wonderful if she could accomplish this?

This is her life, not perfect but neither is she and makes no claim to being so,
but she is so very content!
Wonderful study into the makings of "her." Would that more of the human population could arrive at these simple truths this tankabun discovered and passed to its readers. A simple way to lead not so simple a life.
