See how the blood wells,
running down
the thighs of Creativity.
The goddess is dying
birthing her creation,
her omnipotence forsaken,
as she tries to fill the void.
Will she find , with this birth
the revelation of mystics
or recognize the 'golden calf'?

Could it be just the egg
of her cosmic ovary
splitting, the fruit not having taken
this time, spilling forth
the black juice- ink
an abyss, reflecting to her
her self-created limitations,
the una(void)able cycle
of life and death ?

In the void she had no doubt:
before Abraham was - she was,
all potentiality,
unimaginable the might
of her fruit.
The silence before creation-
salvation;

hers to give;
hers to deny.
