Bless That Tree, on which our Savior died alone!

That tree showed us there was only one way home.

Christ's destiny, to suffer on the cross of Calvary,

Fulfilled for needy sinners God's plan to set us free.

Bless The Wood, where our Savior hung in agony,

Where Jesus Christ became the sacrifice for me.

No other one was sinless -- the perfect offering;

Only He could pay the cost --

Bless That Tree!

Acts 2:23, 24 ~ "This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.  But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.
