It's hard to let go of the past -- the memories that one treasures, the outings, the traffic jams, giving others a ride -- such joy.

I hope she's off to a good family who will enjoy her as much as you did. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend.

I know how it was when I had to get rid of my old 1980 Pontiac Sunbird before I got my 1987 Grand Am. I cried for days! LOL I loved that ol' car, even with the wrecks I had (my fault). I kiddingly called my Sunbird my 1980/1985/1986 Sunbird due to parts replaced. LOL I also cried when I sold my Grand Am to get my Mercury Topaz; yes, my cars and I had some adventures! It's like getting rid of an old friend when you sell a car or have to get rid of it.

Now my cars are blue; my car is/are my crutches. I walk just about everywhere I go! LOL
