Love Is…..

Turning a frown into a smile,

Or a tear into a hug,

Visiting for a long while,

A chill warmed by hot chocolate in a mug.

Deep conversations lasting for hours,

Encouragement when fear rears it’s ugly head.

A tender clasp with hands full of flowers,

While gazing adoringly and speechless from the bed.

Sage advice given from the heart,

Teaching each other life lessons learned.

Sharing passions and future plans to start

Mutually enjoying each one’s talent and respect earned.

A child’s touch that pierces the soul,

Guiding new beings to maturity, then setting free

Eyes of sheer wonderment that babies behold,

When grown, holding keys to the future they see.

Romantic kisses and passionate embraces,

Experiencing the ultimate in physical bliss.

Exploring each other’s secret places

And when apart, each other’s essence is sorely missed.

Seeking God and following in His walk

Searching for truth and obeying His divine Word.

Allowing His light to shine in how we act and talk

Together forever, bound for life, His Will be heard.
