Dear friends,

Just a note to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas…may your holiday be filled with laughter from the heart. Peace from within, the kind of peace that allows one to sleep without cares.  May you feel the warmth of love from family, friends, and our Lord for he is truly the reason for this miraculous season, may your holiday be filled with hope for those who are discouraged and low, peace for those who have loved one’s serving our country. May your holiday be filled with friendship if you are alone, know that you have friends here at the den, for the den is about so much more than writing, we share fellowship, friendship, hopes, desires, prayers, thoughts, and laughter. I would also like to take a moment and thank each of you for taking time away from your own hectic life to read and review my work, I appreciate and enjoy your warm and sincere comments and reviews, you guys are great. The den came at a time for me when I was beginning to feel the empty nest syndrome. My son has been married for seven years, and my daughter will soon be marrying her wonderful fiancé and she and my granddaughter Jozie will be moving out. I have become so accustomed to having both of my beautiful girls at home, I wasn’t sure exactly how to handle this…what would I do with all my time? I have my wonderful husband who works many long hours, I have friends at church and friends at work, but I needed more…someone whom had many of the same interests. I now do not worry about this…I now have a multitude of friends whom I can share my interest and passion for writing with and so much more. Thank you all for your warm reception and friendship. Merry Christmas from the mountains of Kentucky…
