This poem was written for my father. He was angry after my mother died--having difficulty dealing with her death-- A father of twelve-- He certainly had his job cut out for him after her death-- our ages 3-23-- And, two years after her death he remarried, but was still angry with God for taking our beautiful mother away from him-- 'THE REASON"... he never got a chance to say goodbye to her, the mother of his children-the love of his life, at least in the way he would've like to so, in a poem I wrote I said it for him. After I read it to him, he cried and was then able to finally let go and move on in his new marriage...
I wish that I could write or sing
so I could express all the wonderful things
I shared with you every day of your life
how lucky I am that you were my wife ...
Your gentle ways and soft spoken voice
made me sure I had made the right choice ...
The mother of my children so lucky am I
why I was blessed I still wonder why ...
While you were cooking or minding the kids I studied you dear and just shook my head ...
You were too good for this world darling it's true ... God needed an angel that's why he chose you...
After adjustment and a long time passed by I had a talk with God and I asked him why he took you from us and yes it was true ... God needed an angel exactly like you...
Someday I'll rejoin you but darling till then
here's a kiss on the cheek from all of the kids we love and we miss you this much is true ... God needed an angel that's why he chose you ...
Well, here go the tears again. Just beautifully moving and such a special gift for your father.

This is what I'd call a "song of songs". I can understand well the suffering of your father in losing his beloved wife. The words of the poem surely had to be spoken to your heart and mind by a Heavenly Angel.
This is beautiful...
this reminds me of my father..he was so lost
without my mother...
after being away from her for eleven years..his depression was getting worse than ever...the day before her birthday..nearly two
years ago..he joined her
in God's kingdom...he now can wear a smile...
Glad he moved on but never forgot.
