Running, running in all directions
Each one with self on the mind
If a favor is done
It's done for number one
To help others would take too much time
All of them on a mission
No time to listen
Because today they've got something else to do
Our children are running in all directions
With little guidance from me or you
We started out well in the beginning
We taught them their ABC's
But now that they're running in all directions
We sleep and give them the keys
We'd better wake up and show them the way
The future is in their hands
The running of our children must come to a stop
So we all can begin to stand

Both verses are from the Living Bible, psalm 127, and should be taken as a caution--children are precious gifts, and need the nurture and admonition of parents and other adults to teach them the ways of God. How else will order be restored to America?
