‘Nere Do Wells
By La Belle Rouge

Sadie was a redneck woman, lived in a house of log
Friday nights at the bar, Saturday at the mud bog
Wore six inch red high heels with her skinny jeans
She could be apple pie sweet or sour apples mean
Women didn’t like her none ’cause their men did
Gossip was she sold herself for the highest bid
Preacher said, sinners like her was goin to hell
she won’t nothin but a slut and a ’nere do well

Blond hair with black roots, teased way up BIG
Sometimes she wore a flame-red, Dolly Parton wig
Drove a jacked up Chevy truck, gun rack in the cab
She could down a six pack with a pack of chee-nabs
She musta been poured into them skin tight jeans
Them low cut tops made her assets look like dreams
She wiggled when she walked and she talked with
a southern drawl cause she’s from down yonder, Y’all

Jenny said she saw her kissin Katie’s ole man Jim
Women was pissed off, the men said “good for him”
She was voted, “Most Likely” in her senior class
Eight wrecks on main street, drivers watching her ass
Yeah, Sadie was a wild child, could be no doubt of that
Next to her them beauty queens looked ugly and fat
Was for sure she could put any man under her spell
that curvy, bleached blond hussy, that ‘nere do well

Bessie big mouth was the worst one for gossip talk
about trashy people doing what they hadn’t ought
She knew what everybody was doing, when, with who
If you was the least outa line, Bessie Big Mouth knew
and told it all far and wide, Bessie had nothing to hide
Not one little bit of juicy news would Bessie let slide
She knew all the places that forbidden lovers met
Not one iota of what she knew would Bessie forget

One day Sadie and her redbone hound took a walk
The hound’s name was Elvis and Elvis could talk
He sniffed the air and told Sadie to go and look
in that clump of bushes growing next to the brook
Sadie sneaked over there and took a little peep
but Elvis rushed the bushes with a flying leap
He landed square on the preacher’s bare backside
pressed him on Bessie with her thighs open wide

Sadie winked at the Preacher, a laugh in her voice
“Think you could do better, aint much of a choice”
She whipped out her cell phone capturing the sight
thinking of the places she could forward it that night
“Maybe we should print it in the church newsletter,
or the religious section of The Herald might be better
For me it’s plain to see you two are goin right to hell
She aint nothing but a slut and you’re a ‘nere do well”

Wowwe what an exciting poetic story I enjoyed reading from the beginning to the ending my friend. It was rhymed word tight from line to line. Also an interesting sexy character used leaving nothing to the imagination.

I said those jeans are so tight, how do you get out of them, and she replied, you can start by buying me a drink.

Well written.
