Captured Words

Captured words, written in the past

Are  gems of a treasure discovered

In the lines of words written

Praises and gratitude of blessing

Your spirit unfolds Your presence

That gives joy, and happiness once more

In knowinging that my soul can

Rejoice in the depths of Your love

For only You could know that was written in words

that needed to be remembred

In poems of yester years

That reveals the wonder of who You are

each word tells of the mystery

that You alone could write

Oh God! How blessed I am

In thanksgving for saving those thoughts

that could tell me over and over

Of Your loving spirit

to give

Me renewed life in the shadow of time

That You are found in words

That retells again the maker of all

Is a Gos who is I am
