Jude, I spent 7 nights in NYC this summer, I can't begin to express the feeling I had when I went to 'Ground Zero' numbness...but a sense of energy and love to the one's that were loss that will never die as we will never forget to remember! (I felt the footprints)

The American Spirit will never, can never be defeated, you guys always find something positive out of every tragedy, even one of such unparalleled gravity in your history.
Gosh, how people like you felt on the dreadful day I can empathise, being so close and caught in massive IRA bombings for over two decades, plus 7/7. So never feel isolated America has always had at least one friend who'll do what it can, even if it means punching above its weight.
For the last couple of years, I have not been able to even participate in any of the events that have been presented on this subject. At first, I could not say enough and frankly, there were just not enough tears to wash away that pain. Ten years since that devastating day and it still seems like a few months ago. The terrorists did their job well because I am still not able to get past the agony of a war on U.S, soil. I am glad that you can write and write with a hopeful feel. Perhaps one day, I too will no longer have that scar that bleeds ever time I recall the events of that day.

Jude, I just love that you were able to write this. I personally cannot find the words to express what I still feel. I guess it is hard to reopen this pain.
