Johnnie, with mum and dad, was flying high

Up above clouds in an azure blue sky,

En route on holiday to Rimini’,

On the Adriatic of Italy.

It was his first time so high in the skies,

Johnnie was spellbound, with wide-open eyes

Admiring the breathtaking scenery:

The white clouds, blue skies and sparkling blue sea.

The stewardess was fumbling serving tea,

When four year old Johnnie impatiently

Cried out loud for all to hear: “For Christ’ sake

Mum, let’s call in on God for tea and cake.”
