Nobody's listening.
Come wisdom, whisper in my ear Answers to questions deep and old Wait! Let me get another beer To ease truths that may be hard and cold The stereo? It’s turned down low I’m trying to learn this awesome riff I’ll ditch the crossword puzzle though Oooh! Supper’s ready! Take a whiff. Okay! I’ve got my beer and chili I’m ready now to have that chat Turn the TV off!? Don’t be silly! Baywatch is on. I can’t miss that! Okay! Okay! No need to freak I won’t flub your pitch of blinding truth Louder! It’s hard to hear you speak Over the strumpet call of youth SMT 7/19/00
