Afternoon Delight

© By Kathy Armijo

A myriad of thoughts cross my mind

When I think of ‘afternoon delight’

A        Always impromptu

F         Finally, time for … well, you, figure it out

T        Tender moments spent with my love

E        Enjoying a picnic

R        Relaxing with you by my side

N        Nothing but time on my hands

O        Open to possibilities

O        Only beauty surrounds me

N        Never a dull moment

D        Doing what brings pleasure

E        Enticing

L         Loving you with all my might

I          Intrigue

G        Got you going crazy

H        Heaven for a moment in time

T        Thirsting for more

My dear Kathy,

You have gifted us with a special moment to be remembered. Everything caught my eye, and some things I couldn't shake off even if I tried, which I wouldn't:
Loving you with all my might
Got you going crazy
Thirsting for more

I mean, are you kidding me? There's nothing a man wants more than to go to heaven, and then go again. Now I'd comment more, but I've just gotta go up and read this one more time.

A great piece obviously written by a woman worth dying for!

Richard

That's my kind of surrounding land for a picnic, and the frame made by the acrostic words explained it all.

The pool, I could jump into it now. Looks delightful and inviting. Oh what a thing to do to relax on an afternoon as hot as it gets this week. Beautiful acrostic too. Such delightful thoughts and words to pass on.
