comes the coldness of the Snow Queen.
She blows her cold breath across the lake,
hardening the water.
The silly cat thought it has suddenly
become Jesus,
walks on top of the water.
It walks, and runs across the frozen lake;
tries to catch those teasing fish below.
As the Snow Queen waves her billowing sleeves,
she also brings showers of snowflakes;
spreading magnificent pureness across,
like a blanket of whiteness
to protect our lands.
Bored little children suddenly sprung to life.
They walk, fall, and slide in the snow.
Little hands busying, building snowmen,
throwing snowballs.

She just sits up there in the sky,
watching us, eavesdropping, marveling
as we declare our love for each other.
And the Little squirrels run about,
preparing for a winter’s hideout.
And then there’s you and me,
pinky cheeks and honey sweet lips…
