My Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you
A really lovely couple called Cedric and Ermintrude...
Now hang on just a minute, it's not what you'd expect
For when you meet the two of them, your brain will be sorely vexed!
See Cedric is a Buddy, but not in the male way
'Cedric ain't a man?' you cry. If Jewish you'd say, 'Oi vay!'
'And Ermintrude no woman, just what is going on here?'
Well, still your beating hearts my dears, neither of us is queer!
That's not quite true , we're queer to you, but we ain't queer to us
It's just we'll stretch your prejudices, so please don't make a fuss!
You see we don't got attitude, it's your perceptions see
We know who we are, but do you? We will be what we'll be!
And really what is in a name? Some say in names there's power
Do come and see the jewels we are and very lovely flowers!
