A princess was a sitting,
in a tower of shining white,
but the king kept on forgetting,
to send a dashing knight.
A young dragon went exploring,
seeing what he could see.
His front he was ignoring.
He ran into a tree.
A miser once hid his gold
under an old gray rock,
but if the truth is to be told,
the place he long forgot.
A magical brownie could make gold,
spun from common straw,
but the billy goat he was sold,
came and ate it all.
A thief was creeping,
in the house on night,
tripped over the watch dog who was sleeping,
because he forgot to bring a light.
A man heard a noise,
high up within a tree.
On a branch he was poised,
when he found a hive of bees.
A troll was asleep,
covered in troll-green hair,
not knowing he was a few feet,
from a waking bear.
The princess is reading stories,
in the tower of shining white,
thinking that things ae boring,
and wondering "Where is that knight?"
