The moon is full and bright,
the goblins are out tonight.
They are dancing in the night air,
and are braiding their goblin green hair.
They are talking to the bats that flutter around,
and peeking in windows with out making a sound.
They are fooling ghosts by covering themselves in sheets,
and through cut out eyeholes they do peek.
Hiding in trees and hanging upside down,
and drumming a drum that makes goblin sounds.
Wrestling and playing goblin games,
going to mailboxes and switching all the names.
They gather around their goblin rings,
planning mischief and other things.
They will trick a ghost into scaring itself,
and take a shoelace and tie up an elf.
They put footprints on sheets hanging on the line,
and steal apples and candy to dine.
So beware of the nights of the bright and full moon,
you may see the goblins dancing to their goblin tune
