It should be a dark and stormy night....

but, the moon was full and bright.

There was no witch's broom in flight.
No ghosts, no goblins and no vampires in sight.

Gone are the days of warmth that went on and on...
soft night breezes and perfumed air to dream upon.

Fireflies are tucked in their little beds until next year.
squirrels are preparing for the winter that is so near.



Bright red and orange leaves are covering the trees.
Stars are bright in the chilly Autumn evening breeze.

Porches are decorated with deep orange pumpkins and bales of hay...
scarecrows and decorations of Fall hold sway.

Soon Halloween/Samhain/All Hallow's Eve will be here....
the most exciting and wonderful night of the year.
