harvest moon-
from the earth
pumpkins rise

the setting moon
fades in the distance-
rising sun

ghouls and goblins
hide behind masks-
tricking for treats

november 1st-
candy wrappers
blow in the wind

november 1st-
ghosts and goblins
haunt the closet

autumn nights-
a cooler breeze
through the wind chimes

the farm horse pulls-
followed by a cart
and his shadow

leaves fall-
an autumn rainbow
touches ground

November 1st, candy wrappers blow in the wind... brilliant observation that marks out that date in the year! This is one warm-fuzzy halloween - my best type!! Ode to Autumn. Love it, thank you. Kate xx
